Hypothetically speaking...

Let's say that there is a fantasy world with two factions. One, a race of lizard-people. The other, a hybrid breed between said lizard people and Draconians. And these two factions were not at war, but very antagonistic toward one another and war is pretty much inevitable. Should romance between the two races be allowed (keeping in mind that they are genetically compatible)?

Better to feel and lose than to never feel at all. Trying to protect people to much from harm only leads to more emotional anguish. And usually to backlash against those in charge.

I'm certain they'd find romance within their new species, perhaps not so ideal a romance, but still.

Unlikely, people only move on when the breakup is natural. When it's forced, it only makes the passion grow stronger.

I want to do that to myself.

If it is the cruelest thing that you can do to someone. It would make a good story, on top of giving me pain.

XD You have a scarily cynical mind, you know that?

I guess. I enjoy psychological pain. I enjoy exercising force of will to ignore said pain. And I guess I don't like or trust most people.

Well, until war breaks it should be allowed. In war, things change, it would be harder for a woman to love a man attacking her nation and family....Only in very special occasions that would be theoratically impossible the man-woman would love the other.
